Yes, Another e.l.f. haul!!

Hey my loves!!

So I'm back with another e.l.f. haul! They were offering 50% off of their studio line so I had to jump on some of the items I've been curious about. I was super excited to receive these items and they sure do deliver great quality!

I've been eyeing out this Maximum Coverage Concealer for a while and finally got it. I'm not too sure about it yet. I need to use it a few more times. It's very thick and creamy! You definitely need to set it with a powder after because it tends to feel sticky after.

The next item is the Baked Blush in Passion Pink. It looks super pretty online and in the pan. I'm excited to use it but it looks a bit light for me. Hopefully it will look more brighter on my cheek than it did on my hand.

The next item that I got is this cool mascara and eyeshadow shield. I was super stoked about ordering this. The first time I tried they were sold out but they restocked and I dove on it. I haven't used it yet but I tried putting it up to my eye and above my eye and it's kind of awkward to hold. I will have to use it to really get a sense of how to hold it. I usually put a piece of tissue under my eye to catch the fall out so I will see how this does.

I also got the cream eyeshadow in Bronzed. This color is gorgeous and super pigmented. I wish they had more colors. Can you say gorge? It is nice and creamy. I can't wait to use it on my eyes. It came with a tiny brush but I threw it out because I won't use it.

I got the Lip Exfoliator. This is probably one of my most favorite items of the haul. I was excited to try this one because I read how great it was on Janine's blog. Well she was right. It's fantastic and tastes good too! It did a great job at exfoliating my lips too because they were dry. It is made of sugar so you know it tastes yummy :))

Now I am a huge fan of NYX Brow Lifter. This is a daily item for me so when I saw that e.l.f. had one for less than half the price of the NYX one I jumped on it! However, the brow filler is way too dark for me. It makes my eyebrows look like Cruela Deville :)) The lifter part I can definitely use though. The filler pencil is definitely cool though it sort of has a waxy texture so it holds eyebrows in place. Bummer that it didn't work for me :(

Lift on the left, Filler on the right
I also picked up a few lip glosses. Two Glossy Gloss's in Ballet Slippers and Sweet Salmon. These are definitely high quality and I am loving them. The texture of the gloss reminds me of MAC's lip glass. These lip glosses only cost $3 compared to $15!

Ballet Slippers (Left), Sweet Salmon (Right)

I got one of the Plumping Lip Glaze in Wink Pink. Loving this one too! This item wasn't 50% off because it is not in the Studio Line but you can't pass it up when it's only a $1! It definitely plumps my lips and has this nice tingly sensation to it like most plumping lip glosses. Wink Pink blends in a bit too much with my lips though so I want to try a brighter color.

So that is all from another e.l.f. haul! Did you hit up the 50% Studio Line e.l.f. sale?

Mally Beauty: Instant 8 Hours of Sleep

Hi Loves!!

Sorry I haven't been posting as frequently as usual but we are about to move into a new house on Friday so were busy busy trying to pack and get everything organized. Packing with a seven month old is not easy! lol

Anyways, I mentioned in my last post that I was waiting for some Mally Beauty products to arrive in the mail. Well they arrived yesterday and I am extremely excited and impressed by them so far! I purchased one of the starter kits that Mally offers on her website called "Instant 8 Hours of Sleep." I'm always on the lookout for a good concealer because late nights with a baby is not good for under eye circles, lol. I need to instantly look like I had 8 hours of sleep because I do not get 8 hours of sleep a night. :(

It came with a pamphlet (pictured above) that describes each item and instructions on how to use each of the products. You can actually go to Mallybeauty.com and there are videos that show how to use many of her items, which is a huge plus for newbies to her makeup line (like me).

The starter kit came in this little makeup bag that I am absolutely loving right now! I actually just purchased another makeup bag for my purse and I am regretting it since I got this beauty. It is super cute and very good quality. I'm loving how she has the snakeskin pattern on all of her products.

The main product in the starter kit is the Cancellation Concealer with the two sided concealer brush. I bought the color in Light/Medium. The concealer is extremely pigmented and creamy. At first when I used it I thought it was too light for me but it actually turned out really great! The translucent setting powder on the right actually brightens under the eye too. So it makes concealing under eye circles flawless! The concealer brush that it came with is also excellent and high quality! I am loving the brush and the color of it is super cute!

The next items that comes in the kit is the Lightwand Eye Brightener. This little bad boy is a cool little two-sided tool. One end has a creamy, long wearing pencil that lightens and brightens in the inner corner of the eye. The other end is an extra soft dabber that has a highlighting powder already on it. The highlighting powder is in the lid so when you take off the lid there is powder already on the dabber. Genius!

The next item is the Luminizer in Heavenly. This is a creamy highlighter that dries to a powder. It can be used on the eyelids or on the cheekbones to add brightness and luminosity. The color is beautiful!

Anddd... when you purchase a starter kit you get a free High-Shine Liquid Lipstick with your order. I completely forgot that the site offered this. So I was surprised when it came with my kit but extremely happy because I love the last one that I got. This color is called Gorgelina and definitely lives up to its name!

I am LOVING Mally Beauty products now and I am super hyped about purchasing more items! "Instant 8 Hours of Sleep" is $39.95 and can be purchased here

Below is pictures of myself after I used all of these products. Don't I look well rested? I think I am in love!! lol My face has this beautiful brightness and glow to it!

REVIEW: Mally Beauty High-Shine Liquid Lipstick

Hey loves!!

So I received this lipgloss with my Fall TestTube a few weeks ago. This is probably my favorite item out of the tube and I LOVE it!! I actually went and bought a concealer from Mally Beauty because I wanted to try more products after I tried this. I will definitely post the concealer once I receive it in the mail. So I decided to do a review on this lipgloss. Enjoy!

Mally Beauty High-Shine Liquid Lipstick Pen in Blossom:

Mally's High-Shine Liquid Lipstick Pen is a high-performance, 4-in-1 product that includes your lip primer, lipstick, lip gloss, and lip liner all in one! It is a beautiful, smooth, and creamy formula that lasts. These lip pens give you the perfect amount of color combined with the sexy high shine of a gloss. You can wear it over Mally's Lipstick Singles to add shine or alone to give you a beautiful everyday glossy lip.

Pros:

  • It has high-shine and beautiful glassiness to it.
  • The color payoff is gorgeous.
  • It has a delicious smell.
  • It is moisturizing.
  • It makes lips look kissable!
  • The sparkles in the color Blossom give it a beautiful glow.
  • It is not sticky at all.

Cons:

  • It is not long lasting but that's expected with any lipgloss.
  • It's called a lipstick pen but it's more of a lipgloss.
  • It is a bit pricey at $20 each.

The Verdict:

Overall, I would give this lipgloss a A! As you can see there are not many cons about this lipgloss. The only thing that I think should be changed is the name. Some people may get thrown off because the word "lipstick" is in the name. It is not a lipstick at all but definitely a lipgloss. I guess that's why it's called "Liquid Lipstick" lol. Anyways, I am a HUGE fan of this and have been wearing it pretty much every day since I got it.

I am so excited to try more colors because this is probably my most favorite out of all my lipglosses right now. It's a gorgeous color that matches just about everything. It works if your going for a more natural look and it also works for a night out on the town. Definitely give Mally Beauty a try! She has some beautiful products. You can check out this lipgloss here. I also noticed she has quite a few different products on QVC, so check Mally Beauty on QVC as well. You can check out her products on QVC, here.

Have you tried any products from Mally Beauty? What do you think of the lipgloss?

This is an older picture that I posted in one of my previous posts but decided to show it again because I am wearing the lipgloss in it :)

Rain Cosmetics Haul!!

Hey My Loves!

I recently purchased a few items from Rain Cosmetics when they were on Hautelook. I purchased a few eyeshadows before when they were on Hautelook and I was quite impressed so I was excited to see them on Hautelook again! Isn't the packaging so cute? I love it!

I purchased the bronzer because it was a matte bronzer which I love. It is a really nice color and gives a nice beach glow. I have only used it once since I bought it but I definitely like it. Not sure if it will replace my MAC matte bronzer. I will have to use it a few more times.

I saw this blush and fell in love with it! I love hot pink blushes. This blush is called Fantasy and it is super pretty. I am still so in love with the packaging, lol. I am a sucker for cute packaging.

Here is the swatch for the blush. It is extremely pigmented and looks great on the cheek. I wish it had a little bit of sparkle in it. This would have thrown the blush way over the top but it is just a pretty matte color. :)

When I saw these lashes I had to buy them! They are super cute and once again the packaging is also super cute, lol. They are great quality too! I haven't got to use them yet but they are not cheap lashes. They are made well. The top lashes is called "Attention Whore" and the one on the bottom is called "Hot Mess." Love the names too! :))

The last item that I bought is the Glitterati sparkles in gold. I am a sucker for anything gold so I had to buy this. I am loving sparkles on the eye right now so I am excited to try this out. The sparkles are beautiful!

So that is my haul from Rain Cosmetics. If you see them on Hautelook then you should definitely give them a try. Otherwise you can find everything here. They have so many pretty makeup colors so be sure to check their website out.

I hope you enjoyed my haul! Have you tried Rain Cosmetics before? What did you think?

REVIEW: LORAC Femme Fatale Palette

Hey Loves!

So I recently purchased LORAC's Femme Fatale Palette from Hautelook for $14! I was super excited to see this on Hautelook because I have yet to try any LORAC products but I have read rave reviews about their products. I immediately purchased this when I saw it. I have been using this everyday since I got it and I LOVE it!! This palette is extremely pigmented and the colors are beautiful. I've used most of the colors except for the two purple colors which I am excited to try out as well.

There are 10 shades ranging from mattes to shimmers. These colors are extremely pigmented and look great on the eye. I have mixed and matched a lot of these colors and they all work excellent together.

These colors were right up my alley when I saw them. As I have proclaimed in many of my other posts I love neutrals and especially shimmer colors. These colors are beautiful and definitely a must try. You can create a natural look or a look for a night out on the town. The little brush that it comes with is cheaply made and not good for use but it didn't phase me because I just used my regular brushes anyways.

Another thing that impressed me was the packaging. The outside of the palette is extremely  cute. I am all about snake skin so this definitely excited me when I saw how pretty it was on the outside. The only downside to this palette was how small it was. I thought it was going to be a bit bigger than it was. There was also a lot of fall out when the product is applied but other than that I am still loving it.

Overall, I am LOVING this palette and have been using it everyday since I received it in the mail. I just love the colors and how pigmented they are. All of the colors are suitable for any skin color and can create many looks. After purchasing this palette I am excited to try out more LORAC products. :)

Below is a look that I did using a few of the colors from the palette:

I hope you enjoyed my review and my look that I created. Do you own this palette? What do you think about it?
